I’m Dr. Howard Marshall. Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Oro-Health International, Inc. For over 30 years, I’ve served as a periodontist and general dentist in New York City—active in nearly every phase of adult dentistry. My journey has always been centered on improving dental care and bringing affordable innovation to the public.

Academic and Clinical Background

  • Education: Honors graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
  • Fellowship: Awarded a USPHS Research Teaching Fellowship in graduate periodontics—given to just 10 recipients out of 3,000 applicants.
  • Advanced Training:
    • Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
    • Stomatology at the Boston University Graduate School of Medicine.
  • Continuing Education: Completed hundreds of dental courses across my career.

Publishing and Public Education

  • Author: Dental Health & Treatment – Dental Cosmetics & Beauty (2009).
  • Public Involvement: Lectured extensively, led professional dental courses, and created resources for patient education.
  • Goal: To help people better understand their cosmetic and restorative dental options.

Founding Oro-Health International

I founded Oro-Health International, Inc. with a mission to develop lower-cost alternatives to high-priced dental solutions. Many individuals are underserved due to the financial barrier to care, something I was determined to solve.

Bond-A-Bridge Tooth Replacement System

The Bond-A-Bridge system was created to address the lack of affordable options for replacing missing teeth, especially in the molar regions, where food crushing occurs and tooth loss often begins.

  • Inventor and Patent Holder: Developed and patented the Bond-A-Bridge design.
  • Testing & Approvals:
    • Clinical testing was conducted at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
    • Received FDA 510(k) premarket clearance.
  • Manufacturing:
    • Selected Polymer Technologies Inc. (now PTI), an aerospace and medical device company in Clifton, NJ, as the manufacturing partner.
    • Research and product development ran from 2006 to current.
  • Ongoing Innovations:
    • Continued improvements through 2025, including the finalization of esthetic tooth shells.
    • Recent breakthroughs using CadCam technology to reduce manufacturing costs.
    • New patents are currently being filed for the latest advancements.

Periodontal Disease Prevention Gel

Since 2014, I have led research on developing a non-surgical, plant-based treatment for periodontal disease—the leading cause of adult tooth loss.

  • Scientific Basis: Created specific mixtures of plant proteins designed to target pathogenic bacteria in gum disease.
  • Purpose: Develop a cost-effective, non-surgical product the public can buy at pharmacies, supermarkets, or online.
  • Pilot Testing:
    • Initial clinical testing of two gel formulations is planned during the second half of 2025.
    • The primary goal is to determine the speed and effectiveness of inflammation reduction.
  • Product Launch Timeline: Anticipated for late 2025.
  • Product Line:
    • Five products derived from the core gel formula.
    • Safe for both humans and pets.

A Unique and Urgent Solution

There is currently no other low-cost, non-surgical method that introduces antibacterial agents deep enough into the gum space to effectively stop periodontal disease. Oro-Health’s gel stands apart for this reason—and we’re preparing to bring it to the market.
